About the Family Fun Day!

Vision for the Family Fun Day: The Family Fun Day aims to create an informative and enjoyable experience for children and families while raising funds to support VNZ’s initiatives. It aspires to foster unity, generosity, and collective action among attendees.

Objectives:

• Foster Collaboration: Create partnerships among child protection stakeholders, including government departments, civil society organizations, schools, service providers, and the corporate community.
• Family Strengthening: Provide a fun and interactive day for families, promoting strong bonds and cherished memories.
• Community Engagement: Encourage volunteerism and active participation from community members.
• Awareness Building: Increase awareness of child protection issues, emerging risks, and the referral pathways for help and support.
• Fundraising: Raise funds to support VNZ’s initiatives in education, livelihoods, and psychosocial support for vulnerable children.

Activities:

• Games and Competitions: Include Zumba dance, sack races, egg-and-spoon races, and a tug-of-war challenge.
• Live Entertainment: Performances by local musicians, dancers, and other performers.
• Creative Workshops: Arts and crafts, face painting, and storytelling sessions for children.
• Information Booths: Provide insights into VNZ’s programs, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support the cause.
• Prizes/Awards: Raffle draws, competitions, and quizzes with prizes.

Expected Outcomes:
