End of Project Evaluation – Early Response to Food Insecurity Project
Viva Network Zimbabwe (VNZ) invites qualified consultants to conduct an end-of-project evaluation for the Early Response to Food Insecurity Project, currently being implemented from March to August 2020 in Harare.
The project seeks to improve food security among vulnerable households, particularly child-headed households and families with high numbers of orphans and vulnerable children. Key interventions include supporting households to mitigate food insecurity through poultry production and the cultivation of fast-maturing, nutritious crops.
The purpose of the evaluation is to assess the project’s relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability. The consultant will also document key lessons learned and provide practical recommendations to inform future programming. Particular attention will be given to the effectiveness of community-based approaches and the role of local volunteers in delivering results.
The assignment will require the submission of an inception report, draft and final evaluation reports, and presentation of findings to VNZ stakeholders.
Application deadline: 17 August 2020
