Good Treatment Campaign – Day 2

On Day 2 of the Good Treatment Campaign, we are reminded of a simple yet profound truth: nothing works well if a child’s need for love is not met.

A child who feels genuinely loved and cared for flourishes, s/he performs better, remains open to guidance, and is more attentive in listening. When children experience love, they develop the confidence to trust adults, follow positive direction, and embrace their own potential.

This love is not only expressed in words but also in our actions. By spending time with children, listening attentively to their thoughts and feelings, and affirming them in daily interactions, we demonstrate a model of love that shapes their growth and well-being.

As families, churches, schools, and communities, we are called to:

• Act love by showing consistent care in everyday interactions.
• Show love through simple gestures of kindness and support.
• Model love in the way we treat others, becoming living examples for children.
• Affirm love by reminding children, in words and deeds, that they are valued.

The journey of protecting and nurturing children begins with love that listens. Let us continue to prioritize their emotional needs, building a future generation that feels safe, cared for, and empowered.
